What should one do in their 20s to avoid regrets in their 30s and 40s?

  1. Change the internal. If you believe that your goals will help you feel good about yourself, you are on your way to misery. You must take care of your internal issues in the present.
  2. Advice into action. You can consume all kinds of advice and nothing will change in your life because you didn’t apply it. Convert all advice you read into small-action steps. (even this list)
  3. Stop looking for secrets. Solutions to your problems are out there. You are stuck because you are looking for an easier, more “fancy” advice.
  4. Stick with the process. Anything worth having takes time. Whether it’s money or relationships, you need time to make a change. Be patient
  5. Plan, don’t hope. If you try to achieve success on hope alone, you will fail. You need a defined plan; “where you want to go” + “a daily action step”.
